Background

This customer was treating their sour commingled gas with a convention inline chemical program. Chemical rates were higher than expected mainly due to increasing target rates to prevent H2S bumps. These H2S spikes also caused operational issues, such as additional call outs and shutting-in production. All of these challenges had a negative impact on the customers OPEX.

Requirements

The operation required equipment to reduce the H2S scavenger rates and reduce or stop H2S alarms and operator call outs due to the unpredictable H2S bumps.
